Tier 2 Visa - No Decision Letter to collect BRP

Hello Experts,

I had applied for UK Tier 2 ICT Long Term Staff Migrant Visa. The application was successful and i received the Entry Clearance Visa which is valid till 01/01/2020. However i did not receive any Decision Letter detailing on the collection of BRP.

After i came to UK on 03/09/2019, i visited the nearest Post Office on 06/09/2019 to collect the BRP (My colleagues had collected from the same post office) but it had not arrived.

The post office guy told i would not be receiving the BRP as the Visa has been given till 01/01/2020. I arrived in UK on 03/09/2019 and i have assignment for 6 months which is till 03/03.2020. So can anyone please help if i will receive the BRP?

Or since the Entry Clearance Visa is valid for 4 and half months, won't they issue any BRP?

Need desperate help on this so that i can confirm my employer.

Brp cards are not issued for visas that are valid for 6 months or less.

Your full visa validity is in your passport.

Thank you for the response! But this is just an Entry Clearance Vignette for ICT Visa isn't it. So i am supposed to receive my BRP card right? Should i send any email to the home office? Can anyone give me any contact details?

If the vignette is valid till January 2020, then that IS your whole visa.

BRP Cards are NOT issued for visas that are valid for 6 months or less!

No, pointless if your visa in your passport is the full validity till January 2020. There has been no error if you only applied for a 6 month or less ICT visa.

What were the dates on the CoS for duration of work?

What is the issue date of your visa?

Thank you CR001 for your reply I am clear from your response that i won't be receiving the BRP.

These were the dates in my Cos:

Work dates
Start date: 19 August 2019
End date: 18 December 2019

And also my VIsa is issued from 14/08/2019 to 01/01/2020.
