PBS Dependent- Partner & Child | Standard or Priority App Advisable ?

Post by nikky246 » Mon Sep 16, 2019 9:35 pm

Hi There,

I got recently sponsored as Tier-2 general Staff migrant and my visa is valid till 15thSep 2024.
My Visa Issue date: 23rd Aug,2019
My Entry to UK:28th aug,2019
Now, I'm planning to switch my wife and daughter (age-3) who are already in UK on Tier-2 ICT visa & my daughter as my wife's dependent. My daughter is born in India.

As they clearly fall short of completing 5years in UK when I apply for "more than 3years" visa now . But still have chances they can fall in the concession period of 28days before completing their 5years in UK. I'm looking for an advise whether to apply their application via Standard or Priority route? So that they can apply for ILR directly along with me without any further extension during that period.

Please advise.

Super priority @ £800 extra each is the quickest.

Thanks for super quick response :) .

Further to this,
1) I have a question on my child apply ILR with us? She have to wait until we both get ILR or my child can also apply with us for ILR ?
2) Should me and my wife need to prove that we both married and living in UK for 5 years together on this visa to get ILR ?

Please clarify.

1. If you all meet the requirements, whatever they are at that time, then you can all apply together.

2. Yes, you will need to submit evidence of cohabitation in both names.

I have submitted my application and I don't have appointment availability till 5th Oct. Looks like we all can't apply together. Is it valid if I apply for ILR seperately and they both apply together a month later ?
