VFS Global Kuala Lumpur - UK Spouse Visa

Post by KLScot » Tue Oct 01, 2019 4:07 pm

My wife (Malaysian) and I (UK) are in the process of relocating to the UK from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We’re applying for her UK Spouse Visa.

There has been a delay in submitting her application. The 6 months of bank statements are dated as of 23 September, do we need to go back to the bank and get statements now as of October?

There seems to be contradictory information as to the submitting the UK visa application via the VFS Global office in Kuala Lumpur. Are all documents now scanned by VFS in KL?

If so, do we still need to courier the paperwork to the UK? Is this the case for both non-priority as well as priority applications? Is the documentation scanned at the same time or after the biometric appointment?

Is there anything else to be aware of when submitting a UK Spouse Visa via VFS in Kuala Lumpur.

Thanks in advance.

The latest bank statement dated on 23rd September can still work until the next 28 days. So If you are applying now then it will work.
