Naturalisation passport validity

Hi Admins and Members,

I am in the process of applying naturalisation for my wife under spouse category and nearly completed the online form. My wife's current passport expires at the end of April 2020 , nearly 6 months validity is there. The naturalisation guideline doesn't seem to specify any duration around validity of the passport , hence wanted to check if I can still proceed making the application. There seems to be huge time taken these days for processing the application and hence the concern.

There is no minimum validity requirement. Your passport can even be expired to apply. You are not making an immigration application that requires a valid passport or X validity.
