FLR (M) Extension Urgent queries

Dear Members,

I will really appreciate if you could help me with my Wife FLM(M) extension. We have to submit the application this week and have few urgent queries.

We got married on July 2014 and stayed together all the time except for duration 06-Jun-18 to Feb-19 (explained below why?) Her first FLR (M) was granted in 24/05/2017 and current leave is expiring on 24/10/2019. I am now in the process of submitting an application for FLR (M) extension.

Background: We lived together at the same address in Sheffield from 24-Apr-17 to 05-Jun-18 (14 Months). But my job changed and I went to live in Swansea with my friend from 06-Jun-18 to Feb-19. During that period my wife stayed in Sheffield, whereas I stayed in my friend's house in Swansea. However, As with my new job in Swansea I can work from home, so I used to visit Sheffield weekly and we stayed together in Sheffield (Thur-Sun) every week. She later joined me in Swansea in March 2019 and we are now living together in our own house.

The reasons we stayed away from each other as we were looking to buy our own house in Swansea (which later we bought on 8 Jan 19), also my wife was waiting for her internal job transfer from Sheffield to Swansea and finally, house move was a big task and we needed some time to book for the removal services.

Based on the above background could you please check and advise on what should I write to the following questions;

1) Has your partner lived anywhere other than your current address during the past 2 years that you have not already entered on this application?
I have answered no here and provided an explanation as stated above.

2) Have you lived with your partner since your marriage or civil partnership?
I have answered no here and provided an explanation as stated above.

3) Is this the first time you have applied for a partner route, or an extension, with your current partner (including as a fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner)?
I have answered Yes? Is this correct?

4) Do you own or rent your home?
House is in my name not on my wife name, but I assume as she is living with me and she is my partner I should answer Yes. Please advise.

5) A letter from relative (s) or friend(s) confirming I or my partner lived with them for some or all of the 2-year period
As I lived in Swansea in my Friends house away from my wife for roughly 9 months, I am getting a letter from my friend. Is that enough? Any template for such letter will be helpful.

6) Do we need a photograph of her for FLR (M) extension?

I will really appreciate if I can get some help with the queries above asap.

1. In my view reply yes and state the reasons which you said in your first post:

Also try to attach documents as many as you can addressed both of you on sheffield address during these 9 months.

2. I think the reply should be yes because you actually kept living together after marriage.

Just wanted to confirm regarding Q1) There won't be an issue as we stayed away from each other for 9 months. We just do not want to miss oin any point and are very curious about this Q and rules as we cannot find any guide online for this?

But still you live together most of the times. Attach some documents addressed both of you on sheffield address with your friends letter and your own covering letter.
