I have been living in the UK for almost 9 years and we have ILR for almost 12 months. My son has just turned 18, has completed GCSE in a UK school and currently pursuing A Levels in the UK. We are planning to apply for naturalisation.
It appears from the gov.uk website that my son (since he is now 18) will have to take the Life in the UK Test and English Language Test even though he has been studying in the UK for several years. I am not able to find waivers to these requirements for students on the website. Is this understanding correct?
Thanks in advance.
