UK Spouse Visa Applied from Australia. UK Wife and Australian Husband

Post by MissStrudders » Thu Oct 24, 2019 11:17 pm

Hi,

My soon to be husband and myself are planning to move to the UK together (we are getting married in 1 month). I am transferring with my company with expected start date of my role to be 20 April.
I know I can't submit my application prior to 3 months before we wish to move (therefore would be submitting this 1st week of January).

I want to ensure I prepare and submit all the correct documents for this.
We are going down financial route A as I earn enough money in Australia and will have a job offer earning enough money in the UK as well.

Documents to Submit:

Sponsor Documents:
- Full Copy of Austalian and UK Passports (I have citizenship in both countries).
I am also a NZ citizen but do not have a current passport - should I also photocopy my old NZ passport or provide my birth certificate?
Also 2 Passport Photos
- Sponsor Letter
- Letter from my Australian and UK Employeer Detailing how much I earn.

Financial Documents:
- 6 months salary slip - signed by a senior manager at my work - dated within 28 days of submission
- 6 months bank statements - printed out but signed by bank officials - dated within 28 days of submission. Also highlighted to show salary payments into my account.
- Savings account statements - in joint names - showcasing savings (which aren't necessary for route A but thought would be useful).
- Letter from Australian employer about length of time at company and current salary.
- Job Offer Letter from UK based company - showing start date and salary amount. My company head office is in Oxford, as we will be living in London and I have permission to work from home I thought it might be worth having this stated in the letter.

Accomodation:
We will be renting a 3 bedroom apartment privately from my aunt. I will submit a letter from her stating that she is happy for us both to reside and there will only be the 2 of us inhabiting the property. This property is based in London.

English Language:
- My fiance has a Bachelors Degree from an Australian university. Plus he is Australian so that should suffice.

Evidence of Marriage:
- Our Marriage Certificate
- Photos from our small wedding (just our parents and ourselves) and the lunch following.
Does it matter how big the wedding is?

Proof of Relationship:
- I can provide 4 years worth of message and call logs.
- I have a multiple page word document with photos of us together, with each of our families and at friends events.
- Hotel booking and flight information from joint holidays
- Joint Lease, Joint Bank Accounts, Shared Insurance information
- Letters and Invitations to Events together
- Letters from family and friends testifying that we are in a true and honest relationship.

Application Information
- His Passport and 2 UK Passport photos.

Is there anything I am missing or would be important to add into this? Or anything that sounds like it would damage our application?

Many thanks in advance.

Looks pretty thorough. Might want to include a tenancy agreement if you are renting and not just staying there (if you have one). Your future husband's Australian passport will be sufficient to meet the English language requirement, his degree will not be necessary. Doesn't matter how big your wedding was, what you have will be fine. You don't need to provide 4 years worth of message and call logs, a selection spread out over the past 4 years would be sufficient but you can provide them all if you wish. The only thing I would definitely omit is the savings account statements as it is likely to just confuse things if you are relying on income alone to meet the financial requirement.
I'm just a guy on the Internet who immigrated to the UK. My opinions are based on my experience and interpretation of the immigration rules and should not be considered legal or immigration advice; your mileage may vary.

In addition of that noc letter you will have to attach the title deeds, mortgage statement and council tax bill (optional)
