ILR for Tier 4 dependant Child

Post by majsham » Tue Oct 29, 2019 12:41 pm

HI

I got my ILR on 28 Sep 2019 through 10 year route as I came in the London in student visa and my wife will be eligible for to apply ILR on mid December 2019.

My daughter joined me in April 2014 as defendant child of tier 4 student and her status remained same as before. Her visa will be expired on 18 Jan 2020.

Could someone advice me, is she eligible to apply for ILR after both of parents has got settled in the UK?
If she is not qualified for ILR, which application form she has to use to extend her visa?

I really appreciate for your advice.

Thank you.

Is your wife applying for ilr based on 10 years long residence??

If yes, once she has ilr, apply on form SET F for child.

Thank you so much for your reply.

Yes, my wife also applying ILR through 10 year long residency.

That means, my daughter will eligible to apply ILR right?

Thank you.

That's what I said but only after your wife gets ILR.

Can tier 4 dependant child apply ILR after both parent has been granted ILR

Post by majsham » Wed Dec 11, 2019 7:57 am

Dear Support Team

I came in the UK in 16 September 2009 in tier 4 student visa and remained in the same status for 10 years and granted ILR on 28 August 2019. My wife will be eligible for ILR through 10 year long residency on 12 December 2019 this month. But, my daughter joined me in 5 April 2014 as tier 4 dependant child and her status is still the same. I am wondering, can my daughter apply for ILR as tier 4 dependant child after both of us has been granted ILR?

Looking forwards to hearing from you.

Thank you.

Your sincerely,
Shyam
