MN1 Maximum duration for the decision

Post by mfq16 » Tue Oct 29, 2019 2:44 pm

Hello All,
I am just asking about the maximum duration for the case worker to make a decision about MN1 applications. The myth is they make the decision within 6 months but generally the decision they are making is somewhere within 4-6 or maximum 7 weeks, which is infact very good.

Just wondering if somebody is facing the situation where the MN1 application has taken more than 8 weeks?

as i have applied for 3 my children on the 03rd of September 2019. I have received the Certificate of registration for 2 of them but still am waiting for the 3rd one. The Bio-metrics has been done together and while sending an email regarding the status they said its in processing.
I am concerned about the application as we all have the documents ready to fly back home except for one of the child.
It is highly appreciate if somebody can confirm why the processing has been taking so long as the referees are in direct contact with me, though we are family friends and they know my child very well. How long do they take often if they make a decision for 2 out of 3 applications.
Thanks

Each application is processed and assessed individually. It can take up to 6 months. You need to wait to hear back from HO.

Are all 3 children UK born?

How old are they?

Thanks for the reply
Yes, all the three are UK born, the age is like 6, 3 and 1
the bottom 2 have been granted the Certificate of registration but waiting for the 6 years old son.
Actually we have made a separate application for the 6 years old and the same application for the bottom two but made on the same day and biometrics done on the same day.
My concern is there is no reason they took so long for him as he is UK born and the Father has an ILR, All the documents have been submitted as required then why such a long delay????
every day is like a year, and week end is like difficult to pass by.
thanks for the reply though!!
