Travelling as Canadian National plus previous 320 (7A) application ban

Post by happydev » Tue Nov 05, 2019 5:24 pm

Hi there,

I was wondering if someone could you give us a good advise. My mum has recently acquired Canadian citizenship and would like to visit me in UK. She holds a Pakistani passport as well. Previously in 2010 she has been refused entry under 320 (7A) that imposed 10 year ban on future application. (That's a long story on how that happened and how we tried to appeal etc but it still sustained. Last time when she applied in 2016 the application got refused straightoff because of this ban)
Since she is a Canadian national now. I was concerned whether her coming to UK would get HO cause any trouble owing to previous 320 ban. Has anyone had any similar experience?

Thanks

She has a ban as a PERSON. It is not linked to a passport or nationality.

She should not attempt to enter the UK until the ban has passed, which is next year.
