Tier 2 ICT Dependent to Tier 2 General

Hello,

I'm currently working in UK on TIER 2 ICT Dependent visa (it's been 6 months now). My Employer initiated my Tier 2 general sponsorship this month and I have few questions to be answered.

1. Does my employer need to apply for RCoS or unrestricted COS?
2. Do i need to go to my home country for switching the visa (from Tier " ICT Dependent to TIER 2 General)?
3. If i need to process my application from home country, can my dependents switch for Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 general Dependents within UK or they should also do that from the home country?
4. Do i need to submit back my existing BRP before taking the new one? If yes, where and when I have to submit?
5. If I get new BRP, does my NI remains same?
6. Does cooling period applies to my dependent ( i mean can she change from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 general dependent withot any cooling period restriction)? If yes, can she work immedeatly after switching the visa?

3. Within the UK once you have your visa.

4. The application process online will tell you what to submit. Your current visa will be cancelled if a tier 2 general visa is granted.

5. Your NI is specific to you as a person and not your visa. It is yours for life.

6. No. Cooling off ONLy applies to Main tier 2 ICT visa holders wanting to for tier 2 general. Nothing stop the dependent from working for any employer once they have their dependent visa other than the restriction that will be printed on the brp.
