Mn1 for child

Post by ribble716 » Wed Nov 13, 2019 12:12 pm

Hello,
My daughter is born in the UK and is about 2 months old already had birth registration. I have ILR. I read on the website that the child is 'Automatically' British citizen if either parent has ILR and child is born in the UK.
My questions are:
1. Shall I apply for the passport straightway?

Or,

2. Do I have to apply for her citizenship/registration/anything else before applying for her British passport?

Thanks.
