Tier 2 dependent extension and main applicant is holding ILR and no job

Post by mr1712 » Thu Nov 14, 2019 6:53 pm

Hello moderators,

My husband got ILR this March and I as Dependent , i am still on tier 2 dependent visa and due to expire end of January. I was planning to apply for tier-2 dependent extension in january.

My husband left the job and looking for one and there has been no luck yet.
My job has been made redundant today.

1. What will be the impact of both not having job when I have to apply for extension?
2. What all documents required and points to consider while applying for extension?

appreciate your response

1. No impact but you must meet the 90 days maintenance fund requirements

2. 90 bank statements, 2 years proof of cohabitation in both names, Passport, BRP. The online form will tell you what you need.

At any time as long as it is before visa expiry. Regardless of when you apply, you will get a 3 year visa from date of approval.

Tier2 Dependent extension - Bank statement requirements

Post by mr1712 » Sun Jan 05, 2020 9:00 pm

Hi,

I am applying for tier 2 extension alone while my husband is now on ILR.
My appointment at UKVCAS is - 6th Jan 2020
Submitted my application online - 10th December, 2019.

I am still need to upload the documents into UKVCAS website.

Bankstatement available from - 04 Sep, 2019 - 04 Dec, 2019 (3 months) but generated on 27th December, 2019

Please help as I am confused, if those bank statements are Ok to upload? do I satify the criteria, that, bank statements should not be earlier than 28days from the date of application. Does this applies to the date I submitted online application or the date of appointment?

Do I need to get latest December month statement to upload?

Appreciate your help.

Thanks

Your supporting evidence must be dated on or before the date you applied online.

Your biomteric appointment is irrelevant.
