Query Regarding Tier 2- Divorce

Hi,

My friend is a doctor in NHS on Tier 2 living here for two years. He has filed divorce in India before coming here. His case is still on hearing and he has to travel to India every time the court gives a date.

Is there is any way he can file divorce in UK and not have to travel to India anymore?
