Visa Issued in Dubai, Travelling from Pakistan to UK

Post by Bahrainkhan » Mon Nov 25, 2019 2:27 pm

Respected team,
Alhamdulillah my Uk spouse visa is approved at Dubai UAE.
Now i wants to travel from Pakistan to UK.

One of my friend told me that its necessary to travel to the UK from the same country where visa is issued.

Please let me know if its true or if there will be any problem if i plan to travel from Pakistan to the UK?

Thanks

Shouldn't be true as if you have legal status in both countries then you can fly from either these countries. For own peace of mind a flight can be booked from Pakistan to UK via Dubai which most often a lot of passengers deliciously use.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Hi there

I responded to a post you made in a previous forum asking you what questions you were asked in your interview? My husband and I have been invited for an interview and I’d appreciate your insight on:

How the interview was conducted
What questions did they ask you?

Please can you respond? I would appreciate it massively!

4. Your date and place of birth
5. Your partner date and place of birth
6. How you met
7. Where you meet first time
8. When you got married
9. What type of marriage it was ?
10. Who were at marriage ceremony from both wife and husband family?
11. Did you go for honeymoon or any outing ? If yes then provide its details
12. What are your and your partner hobbies
13. What is your and your partner fav food
14. Your and your partner nationality?
15. Your sponsor address in UK
16. What do you do ? And what is your sponsor job
17. Where will you live when you come to UK
18. How you got your current passport ? Also will ask about your sponsor how he/she got passport?
19. When you wants to come to the UK
20. When you last see each other
21. How you communicate
22. What language you communicate in
23. How often you communicate

And some other relationships questions. You and your partner must know about each other

Hope it helps you. Please let us know when your interview is done

Thank you so much! It’s good to have an indication. Could I ask:

1) were you invited to the interview or did you receive a random call?
2) did you and your partner receive an email invite?

Do you Have you previous travel history? If yes, did they ask you anything about that?

Thank you. We both received emails also however mine will be a telephone interview and my husband will need to attend the visa application for a video call interview (at the same time)

I’ve heard of telephone interviews but I haven’t heard of video call interviews and that’s what’s worried me - why would it be a video interview...

My husband will be asked questions about his immigration history too as he had previously been in the U.K. so our common questions will be purely on the relationship
