Scanning documents please help

i am scanning documents to upload on UVCAS website later. I scan each page of a document and it's creating seperate files. If a document has 3 or 4 pages, it's creating seperate 3 to 4 pages of files of same document in PDF format.. each file size is around 4k .. Is that how I will upload ? confused...
