Visitor Visa and BRP

Hello,
I believe if you apply for a 6-month visitor visa you get a visa on a sticker which is valid for 6 months. I am not sure about the visa applied for a beyond 6-month duration for example - 2 years. Do you get a visa on sticker valid for 2 years or its for 30 days validity and travel within 30 days of the issue date and later collect BRP in UK ?

Please suggest.

Visitor visas are NOT issued as BRP cards as it is not a visa that permits the holder to live in the UK.

It is only issued as a visa vignette. There is NO 'travel within 30 days rule' for visitor visas.
