Apply for Citizenship when ILR granted less than 1 year

Post by sally93 » Tue Dec 10, 2019 9:20 pm

Hi there,
I have been just granted for ILR ( following by long resident - 10 years route).
I have a question that If now I am getting married with BC, after I done and got the married certificate in this year, am I eligible to apply for Neutralisation straightaway < without waiting for 1 year since got the ILR> ?

Yes, if you are married to a British citizen you can apply immediately provided you meet all the requirements to apply based on 3 years residence.
