Travel outside UK few weeks before ILR application

Hi,

My ILR application in UK is due in Feb 2020. I need to travel outside UK to US for some family reasons in Jan 2020 and return by 1 or 2 Feb 2020. My visa is valid until mid April 2020, hence there will be less than 3 months visa validity remaining.

I wanted to check if there is any risk
1. to re-entering UK upon return due to less visa validity?
2. will this trip cause any issues to ILR process?

If there is anyone who has faced a similar situation before please advise about the process.

1. Non-issue. You can enter the UK as long as you have a valid visa.

I am not sure if it could be an issue hence I am trying to check.
It says that the final call for immigration is by the immigration officer, hence can the immigration officer stop our entry back to UK due to lesser number of months available on the visa?

Has anyone been in similar situation before? What was your experience?

Highly unlikely. You have a valid visa and are free to leave and re-enter the UK while it is valid.

There is no requirement that it just be valid for 6 months or X months etc.

No, the ukvi website doesn't star ALL eventualities. If it doesn't state soemthing, it is because it is not relevant.

Just one last thing... our travel dates will be after 31 Jan, so will any issues be caused due to Brexit?

Brexit affects EU citizens and their family and not the people on UK immigration visas.
