Working tier 2 dependent switching to tier 2 general same employer

Hi
I am ICT dependent and my current employer is ready to sponsor tier 2 general and continue the same role.
Do I still need to switch my visa from home country?
Do RLMT process needs to happen again?If so should that happen while I am outside UK?
