Tier 2 General Visa

Post by nitin27 » Tue Jan 14, 2020 4:43 pm

Hi Folks,

I have been told by my employer that my COS has been filed last month for a tier 2 visa, Unfortunately, today got to know on cos application they have got some questions from HO regarding the relocation charges.

But I would like to understand what could be the possible queries that HO have raised, can I hope to get this approved this month, or what could be the possible scenarios?

Please help to understand and advise.

Thanks

What is the salary offered excluding the relocation allocation allowance?

Is the relocation allowance part of the salary offered to meet the threshold for the SOC?

Page 26 of the guidance notes on what is NOT accepted as remuneration for RLMT, Salary or CoS.

We will not consider:
• one-off payments, such as those linked to the cost of relocation, which do not form part
of your regular salary package;

• payments which cannot be guaranteed, such as bonuses or incentive related pay;
• overtime payments, whether or not overtime is guaranteed;
• payments to cover business expenses, including (but not limited to) training;
international travel, hotels and business travel within the UK;
• any payments for which you will need to reimburse the sponsor or a linked overseas
business;
• employer pension contributions;
• medical benefits;
• payment of any tuition fees; or
• the value of any shares which you have obtained in exchange for some of your UK
employment rights as an employer-owner.

Hi Team,

The annual salary will be 45000 pounds.

And after releasing the offer letter, they mentioned in their another email that they are also offering 3000 pounds of relocation amount, but this amount was not mentioned in the offer letter.

Not sure what could be the query raised by the home office on the RCOS application.
Regards,

Hi,

They have not shared this information with me, because cos is filed by the prospective employer.

What is the possibility of getting COS from them (Offer letter was already shared by HR in Nov itself and they filed the COS application in after 05th Dec)?

HR is not sharing any information on cos queries..it was supposed to be shared on the 13th Jan 2020, Not sure what happened and whether I am gonna get my cos or not. I also dropped a note to the company HR but no response yet.

the consultant who scheduled the interview has called up the HR and as per his discussion, some relocation charges have been put forward on the application filed so HR is not sure at this moment?

Not sure how to get information about the current situation on cos.

Thanks
