Ok thanks. I’ve sent a couple of emails to them over the past month but got no reply from them. Maybe my application hasn’t progressed at all since when I submitted my biometrics and so there is no update

Hello there ..
We got my daughter's invitation for the Naturalisation ceremony today
We applied together ( two separate applications though as she is an adult) on the 23rd of August 2019.
She got hers before me but I am over the moon
Good luck all of us.

There's a lot of talk about how some types of applicants are prioritised but just to reassure some of you: I applied back in September, I am a spouse of a British citizen, I am an EU citizen (French), never got into trouble (not even a parking ticket), and I have a bunch of UK degrees. According to what I have read here I should have been approved within weeks, as you can't get a case more straightforward than mine! But I'm still waiting. So try not to worry too much.

I have emailed 2 times
NationalityFrontEndTechnicalSpecialists@homeoffice.gov.uk but I only received straight away a automated email :
Thank you for your correspondence.
This is not a general correspondence inbox. Unless we have contacted you directly your email will be deleted.
Should you require any further information regarding British Citizenship you should visit:
https://www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-inside-outside-uk
Does this happen to you guys, does everyone got this email first and after a proper update?

There you go! No logic at all there... I'd love to tell you your approval is on the way but we can't be sure

but I'm sure we'll be fine sooner rather than later
This is the wrong email address. These guys will never answer you. Instead, you should email
NationalitySupportTeamFMT@homeoffice.gov.uk. They may take a few days to reply to you and may only give you some generic response though, but they're your only hope to get some sort of update eventually.

Good morning
I applied on January 2019 and still waiting, yesterday day I received this email :
We have received your application and biometric enrolment. Your case has been validated and allocated to a case working team. Your case is currently undergoing case worker action to ensure it meets the necessary requirements that will enable us to make a decision on it. When a decision has been made you will be notified.
Yours sincerely
Home Office
Is that means my application is with the case worker,?, and how long it usually take with the case worker till get decision ?
Thank you

I applied on 20th nov and still waiting for a reply, but I have to travel to my country end of next month, just wanted to know if I could travel before I get a response from Ukba and also if my application is approved, do I have to return my brp immediately or after the ceremony?
If I get approval let’s say 2 days before my flight, will I be able to travel and return on my brp?
Thanks guys

You are free to travel.
BRP must be returned within 5 days
after your ceremony. You are only British once ceremony has been attended, not from approval letter date.
Plan accordingly and book your ceremony for when you return.

Hello Everyone,
My mom has applied for Naturalisation end of October 2019. I emailed the Nationality helpline and they have replied with a generic response (saying as she applied in September 19 she needs to wait a while longer) but she applied in October so I guess they send the same generic response to everyone. But on the same day she was contacted by the Sopra unit where she enrolled her biometrics+documents saying she needs to book another appointment to rescan her passport, we called them to book the appointment and the lady said it was something to do with the photo taken on the previous appointment that wasn't accepted by the caseworker so they need to take another photo and rescan the passport. Has anyone had a similar issue on this forum? I've been going through so many posts and I haven't seen anything like this before. We are supposed to go back there today to have this done and hopefully they will make a decision soon after that.

Hi Guys I was got 2 Email:
Thank you for your e-mail
Applications are dealt with in application receipt date order. Therefore as your application was received in July 2019, It will take a while longer for your application to be considered. Once your application is decided, you will be contacted by your caseworker.
Thank you
FMT
This one on evening, another on this morning:
Apologies for the time its take to process your applications. I am pleased to say your application, and your daughters application, have been granted.
I have returned your documents in the post today by Royal mail second class post.
Thank you
So please help me which one is true!
Thanks again for everyone and good luck!
