Hi everyone. Thank you very much for the help specially Zimba. I got my ILR finally. I was able to apply with all the help and information from this forum.

Now when I’ve got ILR I’m looking to apply for the passport. I’ve heard that if someone has British child they can apply passport straight after getting ILR without waiting one year. PLEASE advise if that is the case.

Regards

You heard wrong. There is no shortcut route to citizenship based on having a British child.

The only way to skip the 12 months on ilr is if you are married to a British citizen and the application will be based on 3 years residence.
