Long residence does not have a concept of dependant. You must apply on your own and qualify on your own. EACH PERSON on their own separately. Your dependants will not qualify by that time on their own1) Can we apply altogether at the time of ILR application of the main applicant? i.e. around 10Sep20?
You cannot apply together for ILR as there is no category where you will all be eligible. They should switch to 5 year family route FLR(M) or 10 year family route FLR(FP) . FLR(M) has income requirement. They must remain under that route until they complete their 10 years on their own2) if not, what visa the dependants will be allowed to apply? if they are allowed to just extend, can they apply in Feb21, when they all respectively become eligible?
Yes1> In this case, the family has to apply separately.
The 5 year family route works but I assume can get ILR under long residence in 2021 no ?2>Since the dependant doesn't work, I assume 5Y family route FLR(M) won't work. In this case, FLR(FP) would be needed.
You can apply at the same time but their application will be held until yours is granted3> FLR(FP) application can only be filled once the main applicant is successful with his/her ILR.
Your application under the 10 year route is based on private life and it does not need any other reason. The reasons you stated above do not lead to long residence and they are irrelevant. The form is designed to be generic and can be used by a lot of people with different immigration history.neetubhatt21 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 10:05 amthanks but at the top of application - it states below:
You must include all your reasons for wanting to
stay in the UK on this application.
If you apply later giving reasons you could give now
you may lose the right to appeal a refusal of that
application.
You can give your additional reasons in the space
provided at the end of this application if needed.
SET(LR) is application of ILR under private life. There is also an extension under 10 year private life using FLR(LR)>I thought 10 private life route is different than 10 yr long residence. Since I've been on tier 2 ICT visa continuously since 20Oct10. I can apply though 10 yr long residence route on 23Sep20?
There is no harm but it provides no safety. Your view that this somehow may help is not correct>since this application requests to disclose all reasons to stay in UK else no further review/reapplication will be entertained (if previous was unsuccessful). I just wanted to check if there is any harm in including this just to be safe?
Apply for FLR(M) before visa expiry on standard service. You may be able to vary that to SET(LR) in Feb 2021>other additional question: since my dependents would be eligible on 01Feb21 for ILR. Considering they have to apply before their current visa expiry(18Nov20) on FLR(M) application, could there be a chance they also get ILR? (Maybe wishful thinking!)
