Visitor visa, 6 months or 2 years

Hello everyone,
I need some advice. i was given a 6 months uk visit visa from Abu Djhabi last year after an initial refusal.
i went to uk for 15days on that visa just once. Now
i want re-apply, but I am confused whether I should apply for a 6 months visa again or go for 2 years visa this time? And is it possible that they may grant me a 6 months again on a 2 year visa application? If they dont feel like giving a long term visa or just refused the whole application?

If you don't have a good travel history of a few visits on 6 month visas, unlikely you will get a 2 year visa.
