Child British passport (Parents already have ILR) - Grandparents Birth & Marriage Certificate Required?

Hi All,

We are trying to apply for British Passport for my new born child. Parents had ILR when baby was born. I understand I can directly apply for British Passport via https://www.gov.uk/apply-renew-passport but at the end of online form, there is a request to send Grandparents (maternal and paternal) Birth and Marriage Certificate. Is this expected? Anyone faced a similar situation?

Ignore grandparent stuff. It is not required!!
