Spouse/Partner Leave to Enter - Residence Permit Expire Soon

Post by hn » Thu Feb 13, 2020 10:02 pm

Hello everyone,

Hoping someone in the forum could help me with some more information.

I have searched online and can not find any information. :(

Background info:-

My brother-in-law moved over to the UK with my sister (who is a UK citizen) 2 years and 8 months ago.

He was given a Spouse/Partner Leave to Enter permit, and his Residence Permit will expire in a month.

He has followed this website (BRP Replacement Service) to replace the expiring BRP.

https://www.gov.uk/biometric-residence- ... xpired-brp

But it has been 3 months and he got no info back or new card.

Could anyone help shine some light on this situation and let me know if we are following the right procedure or do we need to something else.

Many thanks in advance :)

To replace & renew an expiring BRP usually an extension of visa is applied. I wish he has applied correctly for flrm.

Hello seagul,

Many thanks for your quick reply :).

I understand that it is an online application, but was wondering if there is a fast track option for the application?

Is it possible to go to the Liverpool Home Office to speak and apply at the office?

Many thanks for any advice you can give, just want to get it sorted out as soon as possible. :)
