Accomodation for a couple and child.

Hi members,

My husband has moved to the UK under Tier2 ICT for 2 years. I have been working in India with a very good salary. My kid is 7 years old now. Also, I have more than 10 years of experience in software development (Bigdata). I want to move to the UK with my child and to search for a job in the UK first under Dependent visa and eventually want to move to Tier 2 general afterwards. Is it possible to find a job in the UK under the Reading area? In cwjobs, Totaljobs, etc., they are more jobs offer for my experience. Also, If I get the job, I need to send my child to Daycare after school hours. But my spouse says, don't lose your good job in India and maybe you can visit here for 1 month for tourism. But I want to take the risk and if it succeeds, we can extend our stay there and I can get a good education for my child. What should I do now and I'm very confused. Please guide me.

Though this is not appropriate question in this board topic. I wish to answer it.

No confusion.
If you are really in bigdata with real hands then don't hesitate. Just come here and try for jobs and tier 2 general sponsorships. You can easily find job and with some exposure to Uk market you can find a right sponsor as well.

Don't stick with reading. London to reading is possible daily commute in train.

The risk is worth taking and I don see any risk here at first place. Your hubby might not save upfront in couple of months and you might need to sacrifice couple of months salary. But once you both start office things will be much better. If possible can you apply some long leaves and come here and then quit after a quarter.

My advice is based in what I am doing now. I won't advice the same for Project managers or people with obsolete technologies. Considering bigdata and stuff you can make your idea to reality.

Hi members,

Is the 1 BHK is enough for a couple and son aged 7 years old? Shall we consider the living room as one room? Also, my spouse colleagues say that though the law allows considering that living room as one room but the school administration will come for the inspection as random that the child has been given space in the home. Is it true? My Spouse is already in the UK. I and my child is planning to go there and for that, he is looking for 2 BHK which is very expensive. I told him to look for 1 BHK. But their colleagues say we need to go for 2 BHK as we have a child. Is it true that the school administration will consider the living room as a room?

There is no requirement to prove accommodation for toe 2 ICT dependent visa.
