Tier 5 YMS (Hong Kong) to Tier 2 (General)

Hi guys, this probably has been asked before - and I've read some topics on Reddit that it is not possible to "switch" WITHIN the UK.

Is it possible for me to apply for a Tier 2 visa while I am on a Tier 5 visa, outside of the UK?
And would applying for a Tier 4 visa be an easier option? (I am 21, planning to work and study for a management trainee program and possibly study.)

Yes, if all the requirements are met by the sponsoring employer and they get an rcos approval at the monthly ho meeting.

Bit yes, if you can get a university to sponsor you and issue a CAS. You will be restricted to limited working hours. You can work full time and study part time.
