Hello, I’m on a spouse/partner visa in the UK which expires on 31 May 2020. I’m planing to travel outside the UK on 11 March 2020 for 2 weeks. Is there any time frame I can travel outside the UK before my current visa expires and how long before I have to come back to the UK. Please let me know. Thanks

You can reenter before the date of expiry but preferably either delay your travel plans (unless it is an emergency) or follow your travel plans while keeping ready the documents you will need for extension on return.

Thank you so much for your reply. I’m travelling on 11 March and will reenter in UK on 24 March 2020. And my visa expires on 31 May 2020. Would it be alright if I travel at that time or would I have any problem at immigration when I reenter the UK? If you please clarify that thanks.

You will more likely be asked about your extension plans at maximum but they will allow you to enter.
