Seeking Clarifications

Post by Yessboss » Mon Mar 09, 2020 2:10 pm

I was granted a residence permit in 2011 as I was married to an EEA national, in 2014, we separated. I had a son that was 7 years old at that time and thus I applied for FLR (FP) and was granted 30 months via the 10 years’ route, in 2016 I queried the 10 years and I thought I met the criteria for consideration under the 5 years’ route.
HO revised decision to reflect that I should have been put on 5 years’ route. Applied for FLR (PR) extension in 2017 and was granted another 30 months’ extension.
ILR applied in December via Standard application and still awaiting outcome.
Please I have couple of questions,
1) Will I have to wait for a year after ILR approve before I can naturalise
2) If I marry a BC after ILR has been approved, does that mean I can naturalise without waiting for a year on ILR?
