Hi All,
I have received my ILR last year . My wife is not eligible for ILR yet and she is on Tier 2 General dependent visa (my previous grant before ILR) . Now, I need to extend my wife's visa, can you please advise under what category I need to extend her VISA?
Do I need to extend my wife visa as Tier 2 dependent? If Yes then I need to provide my CoS and sponsor details but I am not with my sponsor company anymore now. Please suggest
Many Thanks
Gupta

Yes, PBS dependent visa.
Provide your last sponsor details. Who your current employer is, is irrelevant.

Thank you for the response.
So do I need to provide my previous CoS details? if yes it is expired now...
Do I need to provide bank statement of my wife to show the funds (£650) maintenance for 90 days?
Can you please help me with the link for the application? I tried for the online application link but just to make sure I am on the right path.
Many Thanks for your quick responses and help CR001
Thanks
Gupta

Yes! The rules allow it if you got ilr based in PBS route, see link below.

No, I can in the ancestry visa route.
Many have applied and been successful. You are perhaps overthinking and being a bit paranoid.

Hi Cr001,
I have a quick question please: my wife bank statement was under GBP630 in the first week of 90 consecutive days for her funds maintenance;
My question here is:
1.) Can I use my bank statement for her funds maintenance GBP 630 for 90 days? or
2.) can I add my wife name into my bank account to make it a joint account?
please suggest....thanks

1. Yes. Either your or your wife.
2. Not required to be in joint names.
