British Citizenship Referees' Passport details

Hi,
Last week I got my ILR as a spouse of British Citizen. I came to the UK in June 2014 and since then was away only for few days. As far as i understand I don't have to wait 12 months to apply for my Citizenship and can do so immediately. I've got a question after looking through the official guidance form I didn't find any financial or employment requirements. It sounds too good to be true Do i have to provide my own and my husband's financial documents, employment contracts, payslips, bank statements, etc. again now? For how long period?

Correct. There aren't any. The financial requirements apply to certain applications under the Immigration Rules. They do not apply to applications made under the Nationality Acts (such as naturalisation).

I'm planning to apply for British citizenship and got stuck with referees. Referee of the professional standing in particular. I know there is a big list including opticians and funeral directors. My question is how on Earth can I find a referee of professional standing, who is going to be happy to provide his personal details such as passport number? Does it suggest I must know the referee THAT well? None of my friends here are of “professional standing”.
I was considering asking a vet surgeon here in the UK, whom we trust our pet, so potentially they could be of professional standing (please correct me if i'm wrong). But how would I dare asking them to provide their passport number?
Choosing someone from my country of birth is not an option as I worry that HO might contact them by post and it’s more chances for letters from both sides to get lost on the way.
Perhaps I need to go looking for some policemen or MBE merit holders to get friends with, so in 3 years time I can apply for the Citizenship.

Thank you very much for quick response! I was wondering if being an adult applicant i can try and ask my teacher (who is not british and doesn't live in the UK) from higher school to act as referee of professional standing. She is still teaching now, but not in the higher school, she is self employed and has a permission to be teaching. I started doubting when i read this part in the declaration form:

"Where the applicant is a child applying, one referee should be a professional whohas engaged with the child in a professional capacity, such as a teacher, health visitor, socialworker or minister of religion. For an adult application, one referee should be a person of any nationality who has professional standing, eg minister of religion, civil servant, or a member of a professional body e.g. accountant or solicitor (who is not representing you with this application)." https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... on_MN1.pdf

I've got couple more questions, on the referees.
1)Would a police community support officer be classed as a referee of professional standing?
2) If i know a social worker or accountant but they are not my social workers or i don't use them as accountants and know them as friends/acquaintances, would that still be alright to use as rerefees of professional standing or not?

I was not sure if police support community officer is actually classed as police officer.

I had few people refusing me, so my search of professional referee goes on. All people listed below know me for more than 3 years, naturally.

I was wondering if I'm just looking too hard and everything is much easier. I work as a Deputy Manager in a Charity Shop (VAT registered charity) , so could I use:
- my Manager (Charity Shop Manager)
- Deputy Manager of the Branch? (can't ask the Manager of the Branch, as we had a new one last year and the old one totally left the charity)

Also another option is our acquaintance/friend, he is a director of VAT registered Business, he runs MOT garage, every time hubby MOT his cars, I go with him, that's how we get to know each other. Do you think he is eligible?
