Biometrics appointment and the COVID-19 outbreak

I have my appointment at the Croydon centre scheduled for next Thursday. Due to recent developments, I heard they're now cancelling appointments. I haven't heard anything about my appointment yet and I'm wondering if anyone is in this boat.

I advise you ring the centre and confirm. A friend of mine received a message today not to attend only for her to call and they said they have been waiting for her to come submit.
