T2Gen Extension (change of emp), dependents later

hi guys,

hope everyone is fine.

i have a simple question and would appreciate help on this.

situation:
i am t2gen holder with dependants, i am changing employer, i will apply for T2Gen Extension. current visa was issued for 3 years. Currently i am only 2 years on it.

Objective:
I want to renew visa and BRP for myself only and want to leave dependents on current visa/brp till expiry of their visas and only closer to expiry of their current visas i plan to apply for extension of their visas.

Reason: there is one more year left with their visas and i dont want to lose IHS surcharge and dont want to pay for 3 dependents right now (you can image cost).

Questions:
1) is it allowed that only main applicant gets new visa but all dependents stay of current visas till expiry?
2) if yes then how technically it looks like - i apply and mention in my application all my dependents, but i do not create separate applications for dependents, is it right? so it will be only 1 application which is mine?

56. If the Main Applicant changes employer or educational institution and is therefore issued with a
new certificate of sponsorship/confirmation of acceptance for studies and is applying for leave to
remain to work or study under their new sponsor, PBS dependants do not have to apply with them
for leave to remain. Instead PBS dependants can remain in the UK until the end of the validity
period of their existing PBS dependant leave. They can later apply for leave to remain to bring
their leave in line with the leave of the PBS migrant. Dependants of Appendix W Workers should
apply to switch at the same time as the Main Applicant.
