B1 Exam / Biocard renewal / COVID-19

My Biometric Card is due to expire in January and I cannot do my B1 exam becaues of the COVID-19. What happens if people like me cannot sit our exam in time so cannot renew our biometric card because of the virus?

Useful to state what your visa category is and immigration history as you have posted in the British citizenship application sub forum.
