Non EU spouse visa application

Good Morning,
Hope everybody is keeping safe and staying home.Now,my questions are the following on behalf of a friend of mine:--

1.If a British Citizen gets married with a Non EU citizen in her country, how long after the marriage the British citizen can apply for a spouse visa for his wife in her country's British High Commission?

2.What are the eligibility criteria to obtain a unmarried partner or fiancee visa for NON EU citizen to marry a British citizen in UK?

1. Whenever you meet the requirements. Note you do not apply directly to the British high commission.

2. Unmarried partner visa you need mandatory 2 years evidence of living together in a relationship akin to marriage. Fiance visa is a 6 month visa, no work or NHS use, and costs the same as a spouse visa and has the same requirements.

1.Where do I apply if not directly to local British High Commission?

You apply online and then upload all the supporting documents electronically. Your non EU spouse then attends the biometric appointment at the VFS or TLS service centre.
