tier 2 general after 9 years of tier 2 ict with same employer for high earner?

Hello,

Currently I am on Tier 2 ICT, started in April 2012. Would it be possible to wave 12 months cooling off period after 9 years and get a general tier 2 visa to continue working for same employer and being high earner (with salary above £160k)?

Q3 point 3. You cannot switch to a tier 2 general with the same sponsor you had for tier 2 ict

thanks, so I cant switch from within UK and I cant go back to home country and apply for tier 2 general immediately without 12months cooling off period neither, correct?

You can't apply to for tier 2 general with the SAME sponsor who your ICT visa is with.
