ILR(LR), FLR(M) and MN1 application queries

Post by shiney » Thu May 21, 2020 2:19 pm

Hi Gurus,

I will be qualified for ILR(LR) visa around Aug 2020. My spouse and my two kids all have my Tier 2 dependant visa till Aug 2022.
My spouse and my younger born in India had a break and in between my understanding is that they will have to apply FLR(M)
My eldest was born in UK and will have to apply for MN1.

I have following queries if you can take time and help me with it please.

1. Do we all need to apply at the same time to change to our respective visa.
2. Can i apply for ILR (LR) first and then after couple of months apply for FLR(M) for dependants or will they be illegal since my visa has changed
3. Can MN1 can be applied after 6 months or a year
4. For spouse which English test is recommended as we don't want to take the test again after 5 years. The options on Trinity college website is not clear.

I just have to spread the cost across the year hence these queries. thanks for your time

Kind Regards,
Shiney

1. No
2. Yes, you can. Their visas will remain valid
3. There is no time limit. MN1 can be applied when one parent gets ILR
4. B1 SELT https://www.trinitycollege.com/qualific ... SE-grade-5

There is a time limit for mn1. It must be applied for before a child turns 18.
