Passport Application with soon to expire foreign passport

Hi Admins
How many months valid other country passport should be there to apply for British passport?
My Indian passport is expire in November 2020, so now can I apply for British passport?

Have you already been naturalised as British and attended your ceremony and now want to apply for your British passort??

Or are you asking about applying for citizenship on form AN??
