Hello,Raja0007 wrote: ↑Mon May 25, 2020 12:52 amHi , just a small update regarding my friend's application which he applied in October last year. Every time he tried to view his status online he used to see the following message,
'Sorry these details do not melt our records'. But today when he checked his status it gave him an option to send a code on his phone or email. When he entered that code then he happened to view the following message.
'Sorry we can not find your status.
This might be your application is still under progress etc'.
He is absolutely worried because of this of this because he fears his application may have been refuse because he thinks his application has been in progress since October 2019 why didnt 'application is under progpress message showed before.
Could I ask other members of this topic please whose application is under progress would you please try and view your status online and post your experience here that what kinda message you can view online. Bundle of thanks.

This happened to me for my partner's application, it was the exact same wording and requesting a code via email. I also thought it was a refusal but a couple of days passed and they received their pre-settled status! Tell your friend not to worry![]()
Hi everyone,nol wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 8:07 pmHi all,
I applied for the settle status about 6 months ago. However, I am still awaiting for a decision.
Here is my timeline
Form received by HO: 10th of Sept 2019
Form Sent:24th Sept 2019
Passport returned: 30th Sept 2019
Biometrics letter received: 30th Sept 2019
Biometrics enrolled: 30th Sept 2019
COA: 26th Oct 2019
Approval email received: ***Waiting***
BRC received (Pre-settled status): ***Waiting***
I contacted my MP last week, and 2 days ago I received an email from her saying they contacted the Home Office and they should receive a response in 20 days.
Let's see what happens, this situation is being frustrating and is causing some anxiety issues.![]()
Thanks @canadian, I know this is not fear how they're playing with our lives and right. But to move things quickly you need to have a politician involved, otherwise they will get what they want 'you to give up' and leave the country. Good luck with your application and hope you get some good news soonA Canadian wrote: ↑Mon Jun 01, 2020 5:03 pmBig congrats, @Nol. This system has a total lack of transparency, it is bordering on evil... needing an MP to chase up a right you have is unreal. But yes, I know this is how it works, sadly. All is well that ends well!
Thanks Mike. I'm concerned that the COA have an 'expiry' after 6 months of being issued. If you follow the progress on this, you'll see they ask if the COA is less than 6 months. https://www.immigrationstatuscheck.service.gov.uk. so what now when the 6 months is up, will they issue another letter? Or my wife will lose her job on the account of the home office lackadaisical methods of working
@Islandson I had the same thought and wrote a strongly worded email to the EU Settlement Scheme (I am a journalist and would love to do a story on my experience... it's been just under 6 months since application for me so am waiting for the actual 6 months to write about it). This is the reply I got, in case it is helpful to you:Islandson wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 1:49 pmThanks Mike. I'm concerned that the COA have an 'expiry' after 6 months of being issued. Thanks @Canadian. Your wording is slightly different but the gist is the same. Basically 'be patient and let us work'. There's an email they provided to us if we were not satisfied with their response, complaintsreview@homeoffice.gov.uk. We've sent this off recently (2nd complaint) also mentioning that we have contacted our MP. I am not EU nor British born and I have been dealing with the home office now for 20 years in visa matters. This is by far the worse I have experienced.A Canadian wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 9:33 am@Islandson I had the same thought and wrote a strongly worded email to the EU Settlement Scheme (I am a journalist and would love to do a story on my experience... it's been just under 6 months since application for me so am waiting for the actual 6 months to write about it). So happy for you @A Canadian was following your path with interest! Good luck x
Those issued a residence card after November 2016 do not need to fill up everything again. They are exempted from filling the centre of life aspect of the application.adinaedri wrote: ↑Mon Jun 15, 2020 4:31 pmSo today the forms arrived in the post, 60 pages of pure joy))
I really do not understand why - seeing that the HO previously granted me a RC via Suridner Sing route - we are asked to send ALL that information yet again (supporting documents about our life in EU country, BC's activity there etc).
We will send it all of course, but I thought that the whole purpes of 'personalised' documents was to avoide all that process.

And on a positive note: We called and ordered the form on June 11, they arrived today, so 4 days.
