Query regarding Referee & Immigration details section

Hello All,

Hope everyone,family & friends are safe and healthy.

I'm reaching out for advise as I'm applying for my British Citizen and have couple of doubts regarding the online form. Appreciate if someone can please help.

1.Under the Referee details section, I have answered the following for the questions
First Referee: The person is a friend and has known me for last 7yrs. He's Head of an IT Department .We have never worked together.

What is their profession? Head of IT
How does the referee know the applicant? - Friend

Second Referee: The person is a friend and has known me me for last 7yrs. We have also worked together for 3yrs in a company earlier. He's Senior Consultant in an IT Company.

What is their profession? Senior Consultant
How does the referee know the applicant? Former professional colleague and friend.


2.Under the section "Immigration details",for the question "Have you made any previous UK immigration applications in the UK or abroad?" I have filled in the details of my ILR application. Do I need add additional information like my previous Tier2 General Visa application & its Extension.

1. You need a professional referee who is on the HO approve list.

2. Fine.

3. You need to list ALL immigration applications you have made. The question does not ask only for ILR, it asks for ANY previous applications.

1.My 2nd referee is an engineer, which is listed in the HO approve list.I hope that should be okay.

2. I'll add the Tier 2 initial and extension application details.

1. That's fine provided he is not a software engineer. It needs to be a mechanical/electrical/civil engineer registered with the appropriate regulatory industry body
