Hi all,
Hoping someone might be able to shed some light on this for me - Australian applying for a Tier 2 General out of country (currently have a Tier 2 Dependent visa).
I attended the biometric this week, and as part of the documents my solicitor said to include my old passport so the last 10 years are covered. At VFS, they assisted with the document upload and the guy helping said I did not need to include this. I asked twice and said my lawyer says to upload it, but he stressed it was not required (it wasn't listed in the official documents check list). I should have pressed it but didn't, and now I've got that awful feeling it was a huge mistake.
My current passport is only 2 years old, and does not cover the last 10 years. My old passport also has my Tier 5 entry clearance, which was my first UK visa (prior to the Tier 2 Dependent I currently hold).
Does anyone know if this is cause for rejection, and if so would they flat out reject it or be reasonable enough to request supplementary documents?
