Employment gap 5months

Post by Msk1979 » Mon Jul 13, 2020 11:10 am

Hello all,
I am on Tier2 general, I have a 2 employment gaps of 70days in second year and 5months now and not issued curtailment letter yet. I am going to ILR early nxt year.
My questions
1. will it effect ILR eligibility? Since no income for that 70 and 5 months period.
2. Till now I worked for 40k, nxt employment under discussion they ready to offer 33k only, will it be a problem?
Please guide thank you.

You need to be employed to qualify for ILR.
1. will it effect ILR eligibility? Since no income for that 70 and 5 months period.
No. There is no 'employment gap' rule anymore.
2. Till now I worked for 40k, nxt employment under discussion they ready to offer 33k only, will it be a problem?
You need to meet the salary stated in the SOC as a minimum.

Thank you.
As per shortage occupant list Mini pay for my job code is 33k.
My question is, will it be ok to jump from high salary to low salary?
Please suggest. Thank you.

The requirement is to meet the experienced salary in the SOC. It makes no difference what you earned previously.

Hi,
I have one more query,
What is employer SMS Home office option?
Using SMS option My employer recalled me back on to the payroll with the existing visa after 70days of employment gap.
Is this legally valid? Will it effect on ILR eligibility?
Thank you in advance.
