PBS dependant extension after main applicant get ILR

Hi All,

I wonder if anyone could advise please in the following:

I have got my ILR in Dec 2019 after being 5 years on Tier 2 general visa, my wife came in UK on tier 2 dependet visa in June 2018 and her visa is going to be expiered in Oct 2020.

My Questions are:

1- which kind of visa does she need to apply for now?

2- I was advised to apply for her extenion on tier 2 visa but i am not on tier 2 visa anymore now then how can she apply for this extension ?

3- if she applies for tier 2 extenion then the company issued me tier 2 visa is going to be dissolved in March 2121 so does it afffect on her visa or no? and is it neccessery that i must be working in the same compnay for her tier2 visa extension?

4- Does she need to pass any english test?


i will very much appreciate your comments and suggestions.
