Surinder Singh EEA Family Permit (URGENT PLEASE)

Post by Sel-H » Tue Jul 28, 2020 6:32 pm

Hello,

Hope anyone can help. I am a british citizen and I am planning to apply for the EEA family permit for my husband before the UK transition ends from France.

We could have applied earlier but my husbands residence card expired and the new residence card has not arrived yet. All our documents are in French. Do we have to translate the documents to English? For example for the tourist visa my friend gave all french documents to the visa centre.

Lastly we have been married for 4 years and I have lived in France for the past 4 years. I am working as part time, we have the required documents. We recently started receiving housing benefit? Would this cause a issue?

Why have you registered a second username to ask the same questions again?? Multiple usernames are strictly not permitted on the forum.

Sorry about that. Because it the previous forum is locked and I couldn’t write a message. Otherwise I would have asked from that forum.

A topic being locked is not a good reason to register a new username and post the same questions again. The topic can be unlocked if you had posted and asked for it to be unlocked under the other username.

Which username do you wish to keep??

Thank you will do.

As for this visa it states: ‘that you integrated in that country’ for proof can images be accepted?
For example: event/festival/museum and attraction visits? (Images of those) I also have a 2 week language course letter.

Because there is a limited time for the transition to end, I am getting more worried that is the reason that I have asked so many questions sorry.

So I am just checking if I have everything that’s required.

When did you apply for the new residence card?

Did you declare your self-employed income from America when you applied for the housing benefit?

Yes, you have to have all your documents translated to either English or Welsh.

My husband‘s residence card expired in February and we applied before that date in January. But they give you a temporary paper that lasts tor 6 months which is expiring on 10th August. So hopefully we will receive the new card by then.

I am not self employed. I am working as part time since last year in France. So the school is on half term at the moment; I work at a english language school.

Oh wow there is so many documents, I didnt know that it has to be translated 😣 because usually for normal visas they don’t require translation.

Would pictures be useful like for integration (festivals, attractions)?

Do we have to get all documents translated to English? It is very expensive, one page starts from €30 euros and we have a lot of documents. I don't know what to do. There is no contact number for the EEA family permit department so I can ask.

I spoke to a solicitor he said every document has to be translated to French. Does anyone know if bank statements have to be translated to English too??

I have been advised that I also need get a residence card in France so I have emailed the department in France.

Hi :) Please help for the EEA FAMILY PERMIT (Surinder Singh)

Sorry for asking so many questions.

1)The translation of documents does this include bank statements & payslips as well?

2) Would 6-12 months of documents be enough?

3) My bank statements are available online if I print it myself would that be acceptable?

4)) Do we have to buy train or flight tickets before the decision of the visa?

Thanks

Hello. URGENT. Hope anyone can help. Soon I will be booking an appointment for the EEA family permit. This is my last questions.

As noted before I have been married for 4 years, I can provide bills, rent letters from July 2019 till present. Before that we lived with relatives so no bills in our names before that date, but we have letters in our names.

So from 2016 to 2019 How many documents do I have to include to show those addresses? Because all of them have to be translated to English and I don't know if I need to include one letter for each month or etc? We have oir marriage certificate and etc.
