I applied my ILR set 0 single on july 8 th and yesterday midnight i received that i am eligible to USE the App.
after having many thoughts about whether to OPT out or not finally i decided to OPT OUT.

just wandering whether are there many applicants since MAR to MAy who didnt receive any decision or been recognized in to REUSE bio metric?

UKVCAS could only invite for people from May to July within very few days is i think because they have put many people in to reuse category. Also i believe in the past month lot of appointment slot got wasted not having enough applicants or their price was inflated.

hopefully with opening up of new service points there won't be any delays for new appointments. and again thinking if evryone come out of the IDV app may be this could also create congestion.

I received the email yesterday to book appointment but can’t see any available slots in Cardiff or nearby, only a few in London and Birmingham.

I applied in 17 July. I can only see some available slots in London and Birmingham Both in Premium lounge, from 339£ to 540£.

quick update - we had our biometrics appointment last week and just now received the ILR approval email. BRPs have been dispatched and should be with us within 10 days!

This was super quick - I was prepared to wait for the 6-month timeline in the Standard application process. Application mid June and decision Early August in the Coronavirus hit times isnt bad at all.

Congratulations, I am sure people who will submit biometrics using IDV app will have the same turn around because interim decisions would've been made after we clicked submit button on UKVCAS.

I also received the email last night saying I am eligible for re use and around the app. One thing I've not done yet is upload my documents to UKVCAS and the email I received states the following 'This new, free to use, way of submitting information to UKVI will involve you taking a photo of yourself and uploading supporting information onto your mobile device. '

So I take it on the new app, we will be uploading documents via this and also the photo. So is it not worth uploading the documents to UKVCAS now or just waiting until the app comes out?

i haven't used the IDV app yet.. it says.. "wait few weeks" . i dont want to opt out and gamble.. but what they have done to all "reuse biometrics applicants" who applied in march and april is unfair.. they could have given us the chance to book an appointment last May or June.. but they chose to stall us.
