Hi,
I am staying in UK with ILR visa which is valid till May 2024. My daughter got a visa validity till May 2020. So I would like to know the process to extend my Daughter's visa.

What visa does the child hold?
What visa does the other parent hold?
Please do NOT post your full name and mobile number on the forum. we have many scammers and spammers searching for such info daily.

You simply renew the BRP card if not applying for citizenship for the child.

Please let me know whether the ILR visa will be automatically renewed or will have to go thru the process of booking the appointment and paying the fees.

Nothing is automatic.
You have to apply and enroll biometrics again.
Note you are only renewing the card. You are not applying for ilr allover again.

There is no such a thing as extending ILR. The 'I' in ILR stands for
indefinite so extending ILR is meaningless. You simply have to replace the BRP. You must apply online, pay the fees and book an appointment with UKVCAS to enrol your biometrics. It takes around 6 months

You do NOT have to take photos. These will be done at the UKCVAS centre, it is the biometrics enrollment!

Photographs are not required to be taken along, the picture needed will be taken at the visa office.
