From the app permissions, it appears that it does not have the capability to read the chip from your passport or BRP. It only takes photographs.iamawonder wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 11:45 amThere is no official update or email yet regarding the app. It is just an indication that the app should be up and running soon since it is on playstore. It is not allowing login yet obviously.
THis is how it looks.
I think you don't have to re upload the documents, the app is designed to be used for all new applications as well moving forward, hence the ability to have documents uploaded, I think people who have already uploaded documents on UKVCAS portal and clicked "Submit" would definitely have had an interim decision made.
Thank you. Got the appointment for 14th august and completed bio metric. Now waiting for the decision.miche868 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 4:26 pmHi,Mitras wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 11:52 amI too applied on 1st July and same Set(M) category. So, fingers crossed. Hopefully I will get an email. can you tell me from which email id do you get the email. I will make sure I dont inadvertently delete it from SPAM. Thanks.miche868 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 12:56 amI applied for ILR on July 1st Set(M) and I have received and email tonight at 10:40pm stating that I did not fall into the biometrics reuse even though my last renewal was in Jan 2018. I do have a 9 year old child so maybe that's why. The email stated that the system was now open for me to book an appointment.
There were no free appointment. I could have gotten an appointment in Sheffield tomorrow for £270 but I opted for Friday at £140.
I have not received the confirmation email with the QR code as yet though.
I got it from

Opted out of IDV app last week, my cut-off was 10th Aug. Received appointment invitation email at 6:30 pm today. Booked Lansdowne Road SP for this Saturday - 2 people for £270. There were appointments available for tomorrow as well. Other than this service point all other locations in and around London and Birmingham were not free until 24 August, some were until September. The cheapest appointment was £220 for 2 again in Lansdowne for this Monday. I have also received confirmation email with QR codes.
Hope all the best.
There were two links in the email but I didn't use them. Opened UKVCAS website mainpage and logged in normally to book appointment.ILRGB wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 8:28 pmdid you also receive any appointmeent link from ukvcasAmy_R88 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 8:02 pmThanks for the above information. I think the email clearly said that the words OPT OUT should be part of subject followed by UAN. So I would imagine that the subject should have been OPT OUT xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxstonelove wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 1:25 pmRe: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Did you click the submitt button after passport and consent form and before uploading the other documents? You only get the one chance to click submit.Maddy_1992 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 4:12 pmGuys, quick question if I may...
As per my appointment invitation (09/09/2020) I am required to upload my docs via UKVCAS. So my passport and my consent forms are fine and marked "submitted". The other docs are marked as "uploaded files" but not "submitted" - is it normal?
If not how do I get them into the "submitted" stage?
thank you!
OMG I probably did.. What do I do now?CR001 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 4:19 pmDid you click the submitt button after passport and consent form and before uploading the other documents? Thank you for your help. Are you sure it is going to be ok? UKVCAS page says "you must upload all your documents" prior to your appointment..CR001 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 4:22 pmUpload the rest and UKCVAS will submit at your appointment.Maddy_1992 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 4:21 pmOMG I probably did..
