Hey. Exactly. I am not sure if they pick up random applications for verification. Because I know many Pakistani who applied after me and got the passport. I wonder if there is anything we can do to speed it up?bluesky1 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 9:27 amHi. I am in similar situation. I applied on 3rd March and still awaiting processing. If the delay is from Pakistani authorities we should try to raise this issue with our embassy here. I know a lot many Pakistani who have applied same time and already got there passport lomg ago so Im not sure where exactly is the delay.
Same. I got the email on 20july. No further update since. I asked them couple of time where have they sent them for verification so that I may check with them department directly but no clarification.Taki wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 12:55 pmI am also in the same situation, I applied on 3rd March 2020 and they sent me an email on 17th July, 2020 that "I wish to advise you there is a delay in processing your application, as the passport service verifies your birth certificate with the authorities in Pakistan." Although my birth cert. is a computerized and issued by NADRA authorities in both languages Urdu and English. A few days before I contacted them via web chat and they told me if they could not complete my complication within six month they return me fee and I can reapply for free. They also suggest me it is better for me to reapply when covid-19 will over.
INIS took years to finials our naturalization applications in the name of verification of documents, and passport office also going to punish some Pakistanis if not all, just for being a Pakistani. I don't know what we can do in this situation?
What is "link unique and how can we find this, nothing such things on right bottom"
If you do not have an Irish passport, you need a visa to enter the UK and a evidence of your Irish stamp to board a plane from Pakistan. A naturalisation certificate is not a travel document.Taki wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 1:47 pmI have a question if someone know the answer it would be appreciated. Can we travel outside country with Pakistani Passport except Pakistan and Can we enter again in Ireland with just Pakistani passport and Naturalization Certificate?
I know we can go Pakistan with Pakistani Passport but don't know how can we come back to Ireland although technically we are naturalized Irish citizens too now because we have naturalization certificate?
and
for example if I want to go England do we still need a valid visa for UK and re-entry visa for Ireland which is already abolished by Irish Immigration?
Any update? Have you done anything since the last time you posted? It’s so so frustrating. Seem like no end to this traumatising wait. Don’t know what will happenTaki wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 12:55 pmI am also in the same situation, I applied on 3rd March 2020 and they sent me an email on 17th July, 2020 that "I wish to advise you there is a delay in processing your application, as the passport service verifies your birth certificate with the authorities in Pakistan." Any update bro? How long have you been waiting for? Need suggestion as to what next step we should take. I am just worried that soon it is going to be 6 months and what if they cancel the applicationbluesky1 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 9:54 pmI dont think they will ask us to reapply since the office was closed for quite some time during Covid. We could try to contact our embassy to ask if they are getting these verification request but again I dont expect there would be much help from them too. I agree a lot of people have got there passports qlready who applied at same time or even after makes me wonder whats wrong with ours. I believe they would have verified the birth certificate n passport for naturalization since its taking more than 2 years atleast for Pakistani applicants. I am going to lodge a complain on Pakistan Citizen Portal app as well. Its just getting frustrated now.
Did you not get an email about verification of birth certificate ?bluesky1 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 21, 2020 1:24 amNo update for me they r like a wall of solid stones no information what so ever. Atleast they sent u an email stating where the delay is my file is probably buried 6 feet underground coz I had no communication from the team or person looking after my application.
They can not return our application after 6 months coz they will have to exclude the time period the office was closed. I cant understand the fact that how did most people got there passports in reasonable time and few r waiting for such long time. Someone has told me to go public onair on this only than they might listen to us.
Yes same. I asked them few time where have they sent it for verification but I didn’t get any clarification. I am pretty sure it is under pile of documents in some govt office back home ! Any guesses where they could have sent it for verification ?Taki wrote: ↑Tue Aug 25, 2020 9:39 pmI received an email in July stated “I wish to advice you there is delay in processing your application as the passport service verifies your birth certificate with the authorities in.”
Insufficient information there is no indication when and which authorities they are in contact with to verify the document.
Not yet any other information from them.
